Little League Park and Civic Center
Charlestown Little League Park is the city's lone sports-focused park. It features two youth baseball fields and two youth softball fields.
Youth T-ball, baseball, and softball at he park is organized by Charlestown Little League.
The John K. Bowen Civic Center has been closed since 2016 with the City of Charlestown actively seeking to revive the property to bring indoor sports, meetings, and events to the city.
History
The Charlestown Little League park originated in the 1950s. Constructed in the early 1970s, the John K. Bowen Center (Civic Center) hosted a variety of activities and events until it closed in 2016. Plans are to revive the center after it was closed due to deteriorating conditions.
