Saturdays on the Charlestown Square
Live music and pop-up vendor market
Check out pop up vendors on the Charlestown city square every Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 am. Charlestown’s local City Sing-a-Long band gathers on the square every Saturday morning at 10am to play live music, so come by and check them out while supporting local small businesses and vendors.
While Founder's Day and other larger local events and programs have been cancelled due to COVID-19 related safety concerns and budgetary issues, we're working to find creative ways to help facilitate smaller gatherings to fill that void a bit. This summer, we've opened our Charlestown city square to pop-up vendors or civic groups interested in a place to sell their crafts, foods, or a have a bake sale or lemonade stand, with a limited number of spaces each week to allow for the safest physical distancing possible.
Please do not attend if you are feeling ill, have recently been sick, or have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. Face masks are strongly encouraged for both vendors and patrons, and please be patient as you browse and respectful of the physical distance of others.
INFORMATION FOR VENDORS:
Limited vendor space is available on a weekly basis to ensure room for physical distancing, and vendors must be set up by 10am. There is no official end time as of yet.
Booth space is available on a reservation basis to allow our organizers to ensure enough room for physical distancing. Please be sure to reach out to reserve your spot.
No electricity is guaranteed.
Setup must be completed prior to 10:00 a.m. each Saturday.
No music or other overt noise will be permitted during the performance time of our regularly scheduled live music group, the Charlestown City Sing-Along, which begins at 10:00 am and usually performs for about two hours.
Spots are free, but depending on the nature of your business additional paperwork or permitting may be required.
